Business Developer (Plumbing & HVAC) 

Location:   Greater Tampa Bay Area

Compensation & Earning Potential:
  • Base salary: $60,000 (dependent upon experience)
  • Position is eligible for commission compensation

Position Summary:
The Plumbing & HVAC Business Developer will be responsible for establishing, expanding, and strengthening relationships within plumbing, HVAC, and other targeted niche markets. This role focuses on driving strategic growth through partner development, market penetration, and relationship management. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in restoration marketing or a closely related industry and demonstrate strong proficiency with CRM tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business development strategies focused on plumbing companies, HVAC providers, and other designated niche markets within assigned territory.
  • Leverage an existing book of business or established professional network to accelerate market entry and growth.
  • Build, manage, and sustain long-term relationships with company owners, decision-makers, and employees within target markets.
  • Identify new business opportunities through ongoing market research and competitive analysis.
  • Collaborate with the DRYCOR team to create and implement targeted outreach and promotional initiatives.
  • Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage client interactions, monitor sales activity, and generate performance reports.
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding market trends, pipeline status, sales forecasts, and competitive activity.
  • Maintain a high level of local travel (approximately 80–90%) to support relationship development, meetings, and networking efforts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of business development or sales experience, preferably within restoration marketing, construction services, or a related industry.
  • Experience using CRM platforms to manage sales and client relationships strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and influence decision-makers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, confident presence.
Location & Travel:
This is a field-based position requiring extensive local travel for client meetings, relationship building, and networking events.
