Key Responsibilities
· Ensure and maintain compliant employment files and records accuracy.
· Manage and solve complex employee relations issues.
· Identifies HR trends that could affect organizational objectives and/or operational goals.
· Answer employee benefits, and basic HR questions.
· Ensure accurate completion and filing of onboarding paperwork (e.g. W-4, I-9, Direct Deposit, etc.)
· Help Fulfill all hiring needs through a comprehensive and robust recruiting program including participating in career fairs.
· Offers day-to-day performance management guidance (e.g., retention, coaching, career development, disciplinary actions, etc.)
· Maintain 30, 60 and Attend 90-day and annual reviews with employees.
· Complete and document HR compliance when needed.
· Maintain and enhance SERVPRO U Team Dobson LMS Specific Training.
· Interprets laws and policies and advises management and franchise employees.
· Track and administer the FMLA program and leave according to company policy and federal law.
· Oversee payroll wage garnishments.
· Perform other job duties as assigned.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel).
· Ability to learn new software, including Xactimate® and proprietary software.
· Experience in the commercial cleaning and restoration or insurance industry is desired.
· Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law Formal Education/Training.
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or relevant field.
· PHR/SPHR certifications preferred.
· Experience leading effective performance management systems and practices.
· Candidates must meet the company’s hiring criteria to include a pre-employment background investigation and drug test.
