Full-Time Day Porter
ServiceMaster Clean by Real World is hiring a dependable and hardworking Full-Time Day Porter to work at one of our commercial client facilities.
This position is Monday–Friday, 35-40 hours per week and combines daily facility cleaning and upkeep with conference and event room setup. A significant part of this position involves preparing meeting and conference spaces, including moving and setting up tables, chairs, and other equipment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and break down conference and meeting rooms throughout the facility
- Move, arrange, and reset tables, chairs, and other conference room furniture based on scheduled events
- Ensure meeting spaces are clean, organized, and ready before conferences and events
- Quickly reset rooms between meetings or events when needed
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, common areas, breakrooms, conference rooms, and other assigned areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot-clean floors
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces
- Restock restroom and facility supplies
- Respond to spills and other cleaning needs throughout the workday
- Monitor the facility and proactively address areas that need attention
- Communicate with client staff and supervisors regarding conference setups, cleaning needs, and facility concerns
- Perform other general day porter and facility support duties as assigned
- Provide great customer service
Schedule
Monday–Friday | 35-40 Hours Per Week | Full-Time
This is a daytime position with a consistent weekday schedule.

The ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, organized, physically capable, and comfortable working in a professional facility.

- Able to follow conference and room setup instructions accurately
- Comfortable frequently moving tables, chairs, and other furniture
- Able to stay active and on your feet throughout the workday
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Professional appearance and communication skills
- Friendly and courteous when interacting with client employees, guests, and visitors
- Previous janitorial, day porter, hospitality, event setup, or facility experience is preferred but not required
