- Manage reconstruction projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, production, and closeout
- Meet with customers to understand project needs and communicate expectations
- Review scopes of work, estimates, contracts, and project requirements
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, crews, materials, and equipment
- Monitor project progress and address issues before they become problems
- Perform regular job-site visits and quality-control inspections
- Maintain accurate project documentation, photos, notes, and updates
- Communicate regularly with customers regarding project status, changes, and timelines
- Identify and manage change orders and additional work
- Work closely with Restoration Project Managers, Estimators, Production, and Administration
- Ensure projects meet applicable building codes, company standards, and customer expectations
- Review invoices, subcontractor bills, and project costs for accuracy
- Keep projects moving forward and hold team members and subcontractors accountable
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly
- Ensure projects are completed properly and closed out in a timely manner
- 2+ years of construction or reconstruction project management experience
- Strong understanding of residential and/or commercial construction
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to read and understand scopes of work, estimates, and construction documents
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly
- Proficiency with technology, email, Microsoft Office, and project-management software
- Experience with CompanyCam and/or construction management software is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and clean record
- Ability to occasionally work outside normal business hours when project needs require it
