As the Inside Sales Intake Specialist Position serves as the primary point of contact for residential and commercial customers facing emergency property damage. This office-based role combines empathetic customer service with consultative sales to qualify emergency leads, overcome customer objections, and book mitigation or restoration jobs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Inbound Inquiries: Answer incoming phone calls and digital requests from property owners experiencing water, fire, or mold emergencies.
  • Qualify & Convert Leads: Assess customer needs through active listening, pitch appropriate restoration services, and convert inquiries into scheduled emergency jobs. 
  • Document Claim Details: Log precise loss information, caller details, and insurance data into the corporate CRM system.
  • Dispatch Production Teams: Coordinate with local franchise production managers to ensure fast deployment of restoration crews to the loss site. 
  • Collaborate with Sales: Pass specialized or large-loss commercial leads to the field-based Business Development Team for follow-up.
  • Follow Up: Track open leads and guide property owners through the initial intake funnel to ensure customer satisfaction.

 
Position Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED (preferred)
  • Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years in customer service, call center environments, or inside sales roles.
  • Communication: Strong active listening skills paired with an empathetic, professional phone demeanor to handle stressed callers.
  • Sales Aptitude: Ability to implement conversion strategies, overcome pricing or timing objections, and close sales.
  • Tech Literacy: Proficiency with CRM systems, ticketing software, and fast data entry.
  • Adaptability: Capability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced, emergency-driven disaster recovery environment.

 
Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies
This is a sedentary role in a fast-paced office environment. Some filing is required which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bending or standing as necessary. Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
