Operations & Quality Lead – Commercial Cleaning

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and proactive Operations & Quality Lead to support the daily operations of our commercial cleaning services.

Working closely with our Manager, you’ll be our eyes and ears in the field — inspecting client locations, supporting cleaning teams, resolving service issues, and ensuring our quality standards are consistently met.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, pays attention to detail, communicates effectively, and follows through.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular site inspections and ensure cleaning standards are met
Document deficiencies, coordinate corrective actions, and follow up as needed
Support, coach, and train cleaning staff
Assist with scheduling, employee absences, and operational coverage
Address service concerns proactively and communicate with management
Assist with client walkthroughs and new account start-ups
Monitor supplies, coordinate deliveries, and report equipment issues
Provide hands-on support when operational needs require

What We're Looking For

Dependable, accountable, and detail-oriented
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Confident providing direction and constructive feedback
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Proactive, adaptable, and willing to step in when needed

Experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, facilities, hospitality, or field operations is an asset.

Requirements

Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Ability to successfully pass a criminal record check
Comfortable using a smartphone, email, and basic applications
Flexible availability, including some evenings and occasional additional hours

Schedule & Flexibility

Cleaning operations take place throughout the day and evening. This position requires flexibility to conduct inspections, support staff, and respond to operational needs, including occasional evenings and additional hours.

Compensation: $22.00 - $22.00 per hour
