At SERVPRO, we restore peace of mind by rescuing the customer’s personal belongings and returning their home to a spotless, safe condition. As the Lead Contents & Cleaning Specialist, you will spearhead our most detail-oriented projects: packing out family heirlooms, managing digital inventories, running post-construction final cleans, and performing deep-cleaning services for residential homes.

The Role: Precision, Care, & Versatility

This is an active, hands-on, working leadership role. You are not just overseeing a crew from a clipboard; you are leading from the front. You will split your time between packing affected homes, managing fine-detail cleaning at our warehouse facility, and executing spotless deep-cleans on active construction and residential sites.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Inventory Mastery: Oversee the complete, detailed documentation of all customer belongings using our digital inventory software. Take clear photos, log pre-existing damage accurately, and track items meticulously to protect both the customer and the insurance claim.
On-Site Pack-Out Leadership: Lead a small crew in carefully wrapping, packing, and loading customer belongings. Ensure nothing is lost, misplaced, or further damaged during transport.
Post-Construction Final Cleans: Lead the final cleanup phase on reconstructed job sites. Direct your team in removing construction dust, scraping windows, detailing cabinetry, and ensuring the property is 100% ready for the homeowner to move back in.
Residential Deep Cleaning: Execute general and specialized cleaning services in customer homes, including soot/smoke deodorization, carpet/upholstery cleaning, and detail sanitizing.
Empathetic Customer Service: Communicate directly with homeowners to explain the cleaning and inventory process, helping reduce their uncertainty during a stressful time.
Manual Labor: Safely lift, carry, and stack boxes, furniture, and storage vaults (50+ lbs regularly) alongside your team in various environments.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: 1+ years of experience in restoration contents, professional post-construction cleaning, high-end residential cleaning services, or estate/moving logistics. Crew leadership experience is highly preferred.
Obsessive Attention to Detail: A missed smudge on a post-construction clean or a missing photo on an inventory log ruins customer trust. You must be exceptionally thorough.
Tech Savvy: High level of comfort using tablets and smartphones for real-time inventory tracking and uploading photo documentation.
Physical Stamina: Capable of heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods in non-climate-controlled environments.
Screening: Must have a valid Driver’s License, pass a background check, and pass a drug screen.
