SERVPRO's Large Loss Division is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented National Large Loss Project Accountant to support financial administration, project documentation, billing coordination, and partner franchise management for large commercial restoration projects nationwide. This position serves as a critical liaison between Project Managers, partner SERVPRO franchises, clients, and the finance team to ensure projects are properly documented, billed accurately, and administered efficiently from emergency response through final invoicing.


Primary Responsibilities
• Review emergency service documentation, T&M records, and final Xactimate estimates for completeness and accuracy.
 • Coordinate with Project Managers and Finance Team to facilitate timely invoicing and collections.
 • Assist with project billing, revenue tracking, and financial reporting.
 • Monitor project documentation to ensure billing compliance and client requirements are met.
 • Support accounts receivable efforts by tracking outstanding invoices and assisting with payment follow-up.
 • Manage onboarding of partner SERVPRO franchises, including MOUs, compliance documentation, and project expectations.
 • Evaluate partner franchise capabilities and qualifications for large loss assignments.
 • Maintain referral and partner tracking systems.
 • Coordinate with Large Loss Team members during Work-In-Progress and EOS meetings.
 • Track project milestones, documentation requirements, and deliverables.
 • Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding project status, documentation requests, and billing inquiries.
 • Maintain Buildertrend, Xactimate, and other project management systems.
 • Coordinate employee travel arrangements, including hotels, rental vehicles, and per diem tracking.
 • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.


Qualifications
Required:
 • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Construction Management, Finance, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
 • 3+ years of experience in project administration, project accounting, construction administration, restoration, insurance, or related industries.
 • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
 • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
 
 Preferred:
 • Experience with Xactimate, Buildertrend, DASH, Encircle, QuickBooks, or Restoration Manager.
 • Previous experience in restoration, construction, catastrophe response, or insurance claims environments.
 • Understanding of project billing, job costing, and T&M documentation.
 • Experience working with multi-location operations or franchise systems.


Physical Requirements
• Primarily office-based position.
 • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
 • Occasional filing, bending, and standing.


Schedule & Travel
• Full-Time
 • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
 • Additional hours may be required during catastrophe events or major commercial losses.
 • Occasional overnight travel during Catastrophe events or major commercial losses might be required. 
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
