Carpenter
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Perform demolition and reconstruction work related to restoration projects
- Complete framing, drywall installation and finishing, trim work, flooring, cabinetry, painting, and other carpentry tasks
- Read and interpret work orders, scopes of work, and construction plans
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Communicate project progress and concerns to management
- Ensure work is completed according to company standards and customer expectations
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely
- Load, unload, and transport materials to and from job sites
- Assist with punch-list items and final project completion
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Represent SERVPRO professionally when interacting with customers, vendors, and subcontractors
- Minimum 3 years of carpentry or construction experience preferred
- Experience with framing, drywall, trim, painting, flooring, cabinetry, and general construction repairs
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record required
- Ability to successfully pass a background check
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and lift throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly
- Ability to work on ladders, roofs, and elevated surfaces
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and construction environments
- Ability to safely operate construction tools and equipment
- Full-time position supporting reconstruction projects throughout Rock County and surrounding areas
- Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Occasional overtime may be required based on project demands
- Work performed in residential, commercial, and construction environments
- Frequent travel between job sites throughout the workday
