At Paul Davis Restoration, we help residential and commercial property owners recover from fire, water, storm, and other property damage events. Our team is focused on fast response, clear communication, quality workmanship, and delivering an excellent customer experience throughout the restoration process.

We are growing and looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Field Scope Specialist to support our reconstruction team by accurately documenting and scoping restoration projects.

Position Overview

The Field Scope Specialist is responsible for visiting properties, documenting damage, gathering measurements and project details, and creating complete field scopes for reconstruction projects.

This role is focused on:

  • Accurate field documentation

  • Speed and quality of information gathering 
  • Supporting estimating and production teams

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site inspections for reconstruction projects 
  • Create detailed scopes of work for residential and commercial losses 
  • Take accurate measurements using digital tools and scanning technology 
  • Capture organized photo documentation and notes 
  • Utilize 3D modeling tools, mobile apps, floor plan software, and other technology platforms 
  • Identify affected materials, code-related considerations, and reconstruction processes 
  • Collaborate with estimators, project managers, and sales teams 
  • Upload complete and timely documentation into company systems 
  • Assist in reducing estimate turnaround times and improving overall cycle time 
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, adjusters, and property representatives during site visits
  • Coordinate vendor and subcontractor bids 
  • Maintain organized records and documentation standards 

What We’re Looking For:

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience in construction, restoration, insurance repair, or estimating 
  • Strong understanding of residential construction methods and materials 
  • Ability to read and interpret sketches, floor plans, and project documentation 
  • High attention to detail and organization 
  • Strong technology skills and willingness to learn new platforms 
  • Experience with: 
    • Xactimate or similar estimating software 
    • Matterport or 3D scanning technology 
    • Mobile documentation tools 
    • Digital measurements and floor plan software 
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
