Join Rytech of Lake County as a Drywall Hanger and Finisher, where your craftsmanship will help shape beautiful interiors. We are looking for skilled professionals to bring precision and quality to our projects in Crown Point, IN. If you are passionate about drywall installation and finishing, we want you on our team!
Responsibilities:
- Install drywall panels on walls and ceilings with accuracy and efficiency.
- Measure and cut drywall sheets to fit specific dimensions and layouts.
- Finish drywall by applying tape, joint compound, and sanding to achieve a smooth surface.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Inspect and repair any imperfections in drywall installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress.
- Assist mitigation team with demolition and water mitigation duties when between jobs
- Experience in painting, trim work and flooring is a plus!
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a drywall hanger and finisher in residential or commercial settings.
- Knowledge of drywall installation techniques and finishing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various positions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
