Restoration Field Lead – Hands-On Field Production Role

Build Something From Day One

We’re launching a new restoration company in Rochester backed by the national brand of Voda Cleaning & Restoration, and we’re looking for a high-level, hands-on operator to help build and lead field operations from day one. This is an opportunity to join at the ground level and help shape the culture, systems, and execution of the company as we grow.

You’ll work directly with the owner and help build the company from the ground up - running jobs, leading crews as the company grows, and ensuring work is done right from day one. This is a hands-on role - you will be in the field daily running jobs.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience in water restoration/mitigation
Experience running jobs independently from start to finish
Strong understanding of drying strategies, documentation, and job quality
Must be comfortable with physical work, long days, and being fully hands-on in the field every day
Comfortable working long/irregular hours when jobs demand it
Proven ability and desire to lead small crews and manage field execution
High accountability mindset - takes responsibility and gets results

Preferred (Not Required)

IICRC WRT / ASD / AMRT / FSRT
NY State Mold License
Xactimate and estimating experience
Experience with CRM/job management systems
Strong comfort with mobile documentation and technology

Startup Environment / Flexibility Expectations

This is a full-time, guaranteed 40-hour-per-week position. As a startup operation, flexibility is critical during the early ramp-up phase.

In addition to water, mold, and fire/smoke restoration work, team members should be willing to assist with other service offerings and operational needs as business volume grows - including carpet cleaning, tile & grout cleaning, contents work, warehouse setup, equipment organization, and other areas of the business where support may be needed as we ramp up operations.

We’re looking for someone who wants to help build the operation, stay productive, and contribute wherever needed during launch and growth. A startup environment requires a team-first mentality, adaptability, and a willingness to help across multiple areas of the business as we scale.

Lead crews (as company grows) and own field execution

Coordinate with insurance adjusters and maintain professional communication
