POSITION SUMMARY
The successful candidate will be responsible for arriving on-site at loss scenes, assessing property damage, and securing service authorizations. This position is the "front line" of our organization, requiring an individual who can maintain a calm, professional presence in high-stress environments while driving revenue through expert consultation.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- First Response Presence: Arrive on-site for priority losses and establish a calm, professional SERVPRO presence
- Customer Guidance: Walk property owners through the restoration process and next steps
- Service Authorization: Secure signed agreements through clear, confident communication (no high-pressure sales)
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and internal teams to initiate services
- Loss Documentation: Capture photos, notes, and key details using company technology
- Relationship Building: Create positive first impressions that lead to long-term customer trust and referrals
- Primarily standard business hours with flexibility
- Occasional response to urgent or priority losses outside typical hours
- Not a constant on-call role, but requires the ability to respond when needed
- Compensation: (base salary + commission) will be discussed following a successful first-round interview.
- Resources: Access to a company vehicle for use during professional hours, along with a mobile communication suite (Laptop/iPad).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in a professional environment involving sales, emergency services, or restoration management. Dbmx/xactimate experience is a plus.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; must be able to speak authoritatively and empathetically to individuals in distress.
- Proven ability to operate independently and make high-level decisions under pressure without direct supervision.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record are mandatory.
- Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
