Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Lead Contents Technician to join our team in a hands-on leadership role. You will oversee and work alongside our contents crew to document, pack, load, clean, and return contents removed from properties affected by water, fire, mold, or storm losses. This is a working lead position — you will be in the field every day while also guiding and mentoring your team.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and participate in the documentation, packing, and loading of contents from loss-affected properties
• Perform detailed inventory of all contents using applicable software or forms
• Oversee and execute cleaning of contents including furniture, household items, and personal belongings
• Coordinate and perform pack-back and return of contents upon project completion
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and insurance adjusters on-site
• Train and mentor contents technicians on proper procedures and quality standards
• Ensure job site safety, organization, and compliance with company standards
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response calls
Requirements
• Good attitude, team player, good work ethic and integrity
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in contents packing, cleaning, or property restoration
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record
• IICRC certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
