About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at SERVPRO of Douglasville/Carrollton/Troup-Coweta Counties as a Staff Accountant! In this role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining our financial health while contributing to a company that is dedicated to helping our community recover from disasters.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial statements and reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes
- Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation
- Utilize accounting software to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
