Remote Restoration Estimator (Exterior Specialist)

SERVPRO TEAM DOYLE | 100% Remote (EST Schedule)

Are you an Xactimate expert with a sharp eye for exterior restoration? SERVPRO is seeking a high-level Restoration Estimator specializing in roofing, siding, and exterior envelopes to join our team. This is a 100% remote position that offers the flexibility of working from home with the earning potential and backing of a national industry leader.

The Opportunity

As our Exterior Estimator, you won’t just be "writing sheets." You will be the technical architect of our restoration projects. You’ll bridge the gap between on-site inspections and insurance approvals, ensuring every detail of the loss is captured, justified, and compensated.

  • Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000 (Base Salary + Commission)

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, EST business hours

  • Location: 100% Remote (Home Office setup provided)

Key Responsibilities

  • Expert Estimating: Utilize Xactimate (and Symbility) to create accurate, detailed estimates for roofing, siding, and other exterior restoration projects.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with on-site inspectors to ensure field data translates into comprehensive scopes of work.

  • Negotiation & Litigation: Act as the primary point of contact for insurance adjusters to negotiate and settle claims; handle supplements and disputes with professional rigor.

  • Client Success: Engage with customers once estimates are approved to secure the job and kickstart the restoration process.

  • Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to carrier-specific guidelines and service level agreements (SLAs).

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience writing restoration estimates in Xactimate.

  • Specialization: Deep functional knowledge of exterior construction (Roofing, Siding, Gutters, etc.) and insurance restoration standards.

  • Software: Proficiency in Xactimate is required. Experience with Symbility (CoreLogic) is highly preferred.

  • Communication: Elite negotiation skills and the ability to explain complex scopes to both adjusters and homeowners.

  • Availability: Must be able to work a consistent schedule on Eastern Standard Time (EST).
