Restoration Technician – Mitigation & Demolition
Reports To: Mitigation Manager

We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals with a strong work ethic and a background in restoration, construction, demolition, or general labor. This is an active, physically demanding position for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and knows the importance of getting the job done right.
Experience in restoration or construction is preferred. We value practical experience, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. We also provide ongoing training to help our employees develop their skills and grow within the company.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in restoration, construction, demolition, or general labor preferred
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work occasional nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Comfortable working in various environments, including basements, crawlspaces, attics, and active construction sites
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and function as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Job Responsibilities
Demolition & General Labor
- Perform demolition and removal of water-damaged building materials, including drywall, insulation, flooring, cabinetry, and other materials.
- Load, carry, bag, and remove construction debris from jobsites.
- Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and protection of unaffected areas.
- Install containment barriers and jobsite protection.
- Move furniture, contents, and equipment as needed.
Water Mitigation & Restoration
- Perform water extraction and emergency mitigation services.
- Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment, including dehumidifiers and air movers.
- Take moisture readings and document job progress.
- Assist with mold and microbial remediation projects.
- Perform emergency services, including board-ups and temporary roof tarping.
General Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites.
- Properly handle and maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and supervisor instructions.
- Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members.
