Job Summary SERVPRO® is hiring General Laborers for property restoration and demolition. This is a heavy physical labor position. You will tear out damaged building materials, haul debris, clean job sites, and set up equipment.

Daily Duties
  • Tear out wet drywall, flooring, carpets, and cabinets.
  • Load and unload work vans with industrial equipment and tools.
  • Bag debris, haul trash, and sweep job sites clean.
  • Clean and organize company vehicles, equipment, and the warehouse.
Requirements
  • Must report to work on time for every scheduled shift.
  • Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record (must be cleared to drive company vans).
  • Must pass a standard criminal background check.
  • High school diploma or GED.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
  • Must consistently lift 50 lbs unassisted, and up to 100 lbs with a partner.
  • Requires standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting.
  • Involves working in tight crawlspaces, hot attics, and around dust, soot, chemicals, and bad odors. PPE is provided and mandatory.
  • On-Call Schedule: Disasters are 24/7. You are required to participate in a rotating on-call schedule. You must respond to emergency dispatches on nights and weekends when it is your turn on the rotation.
