We are seeking a strong, experienced leader to oversee and manage a team of Reconstruction Project Managers. This role is responsible for driving production, profitability, accountability, and quality across all reconstruction projects.

This is not a desk-only position. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires construction expertise, financial oversight, and the ability to coach and develop Project Managers to perform at a high level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a group of Reconstruction Project Managers
  • Run weekly production meetings with each PM to review:

    • Job budgets
    • Schedule adherence
    • Gross profit margins
    • Change orders
    • Problem areas

  • Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and at company quality standards
  • Monitor WIP (Work in Progress) and job costing
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and margin control
  • Identify and solve operational bottlenecks
  • Hold PMs accountable to KPIs and performance expectations
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and leadership development
  • Collaborate with mitigation, estimating, and accounting teams
  • Improve systems and processes to increase efficiency and profitability

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in construction management
  • 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong budgeting and job costing knowledge
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
  • Experience running production or operations meetings
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Problem solver with a team-first mentality
  • Experience in restoration/reconstruction preferred but not required
