About Us:
At Paul Davis Restoration, we help people recover from disasters. Whether it's fire, water, storm, or mold, our team helps restore homes and businesses quickly, professionally, and with care. We’re known for doing the job right and creating a great experience for our customers during a stressful time.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re hiring a Senior Project Manager to help lead and run our Reconstruction Department alongside ownership.
This is not just a “run your own jobs” role. We’re looking for someone who:
- Has led projects at a high level
- Has possibly run their own construction business (and is tired of chasing leads, AR, payroll, and admin)
- Knows how to hold crews and subcontractors accountable
- Can make smart decisions in gray-area situations
- Wants to focus on operations and execution — not marketing and bookkeeping
If you’ve owned a construction company and are ready to step out of the constant hustle — but still want leadership, autonomy, and strong income — this may be the role for you.
What You’ll Do
- Run your own reconstruction projects from start to finish
- Help oversee and guide other PMs and field staff
- Create structure, accountability, and clarity in the field
- Step into complex or unusual job situations and provide direction
- Review budgets, job costing, and gross profit performance
- Ensure quality control and customer satisfaction
- Work directly with ownership on departmental strategy and performance
This role blends production leadership + hands-on project management.
The Right Person Likely Has:
- 7+ years in residential reconstruction or restoration
- Experience running $1M–$2M+ in annual project volume
- Strong knowledge of scopes, supplements, budgets, and job costing
- Experience managing crews and subcontractors
- Confidence making decisions without constant direction
- High standards for cleanliness, professionalism, and communication
- Experience as a business owner or independent contractor (strongly preferred)
What Makes This Role Different
- You don’t have to find the work — we generate it.
- You don’t have to float payroll or chase receivables.
- You don’t have to build systems from scratch.
- You’ll have real authority to improve operations.
- You’ll work directly with ownership — not through layers of corporate structure.
We’re building a department that runs clean, profitable jobs with strong accountability and excellent customer experience. We need a senior-level operator to help us get there.
Culture & Expectations
We value:
- Direct communication
- Accountability without drama
- Ownership mentality
- Profitability with integrity
- Customer-first decision making
This is a leadership seat — not a clock-in/clock-out PM role.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary + performance-based Commission
- Company vehicle or vehicle allowance
- Paid time off & holidays
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401k with Matching
- Growth opportunities within a locally owned but nationally supported company
Before You Can Take the Field: Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: The physical environment requires the employee to work all types of both indoor and outdoor conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment, having ability to stand or walk, occasionally bending, squatting, climbing stairs and lifting up to 50 pounds.
