Job Overview:
We are looking for a dependable and alert Warehouse Security Guard to help protect our warehouse facility, employees, inventory, and equipment. The ideal candidate will monitor premises, control access, and ensure a safe and secure working environment at all times.
We are looking for a dependable and alert Warehouse Security Guard to help protect our warehouse facility, employees, inventory, and equipment. The ideal candidate will monitor premises, control access, and ensure a safe and secure working environment at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol warehouse premises regularly
- Control access to the facility and verify visitor/employee credentials
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments when required
- Monitor CCTV systems and alarm systems
- Report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches
- Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents promptly
- Complete daily logs and incident reports accurately
- Ensure compliance with company safety and security procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid security guard license (if required by local regulations)
- Previous warehouse or security experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Good communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment (may include heat, cold, or noise)
- Ability to lift up to [insert weight if applicable]
