Full-Time 24/7 Emergency Response Relationship-Driven Role

SERVPRO® of Western Lancaster, East York, Hershey/Harrisburg East, & Lebanon County is looking for a Disaster Response Coordinator — someone who can move fast, build trust, and win work in high‑pressure situations. This is not a desk job. This is not a Monday–Friday job. This is a true emergency services role, and we want candidates who understand and want that lifestyle.

If you’re energized by unpredictability, love meeting people, and can stay composed when everything around you is on fire (sometimes literally), you’ll thrive here.

What This Role Really Is

This position combines emergency response, sales, and relationship management. You will:

  • Respond to fire, water, and other emergency losses at any hour
  • Be on a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
  • Arrive on-site quickly, assess the situation, and secure the job
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of referral partners (plumbers, HVAC, property managers, insurance agents, adjusters, commercial clients, etc.)
  • Network consistently — industry events, drop-ins, relationship touches, follow-ups
  • Track leads, document contacts, and maintain CRM activity
  • Represent SERVPRO with professionalism, urgency, and confidence
  • Support the production team by ensuring accurate job intake and smooth handoff
If you don’t want to be on-call, don’t want to respond to emergencies, or don’t enjoy talking to people all day — this is not the right role.

What Success Looks Like

  • You show up fast, communicate clearly, and secure the job
  • You build relationships that consistently send work our way
  • You maintain a full pipeline of active contacts
  • You stay calm under pressure and make decisions quickly
  • You become the “go-to” person for referral partners and customers
Requirements

  • Must be able to work a 24/7 emergency response schedule
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships
  • Comfortable entering damaged structures (fire, water, mold, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and make quick decisions
  • Sales or emergency services experience is a plus, but not required
Who Thrives in This Role

  • People who love fast-paced, unpredictable work
  • Natural networkers who enjoy meeting new people
  • Individuals who stay calm in chaos
  • Competitive personalities who like to win
  • People who want a career, not just a job
Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary + commission/bonus structure
  • Company vehicle and phone
  • Paid training and certifications
  • Opportunities for advancement within SERVPRO
