Position Opening: Evening Floor Care Supervisor – Project Services Team

 Full-Time | Evening Shift (2nd Shift) | $18–$20/hr | Newport News, VA

We’re seeking a dependable Evening Floor Care Supervisor to lead our Project Services Team during second shift. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows floor care, values structure, and leads by example.

You’ll supervise a small mobile crew, ensure work is completed safely and to standard, and serve as the on-site point of contact during evening projects. We provide the van, equipment, uniforms, and training — you bring leadership, accountability, and pride in quality work.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven reliability and leadership experience in floor care, facilities, janitorial, or service environments
  • Ability to supervise, coach, and hold a team accountable
  • Strong communication skills and calm problem-solving under pressure
  • Comfortable with physical work and standing for extended periods
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise evening floor care crews at multiple job sites
  • Perform and oversee stripping, waxing, and restoration of commercial flooring
  • Operate and maintain floor equipment (scrubbers, buffers, etc.)
  • Ensure safety procedures, quality standards, and timelines are met
  • Train new team members and reinforce company practices
  • Serve as first point of contact for issues or adjustments

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
