Position Overview:
- Review and assess property damage reports and documentation to understand the scope of restoration work required.
- Conduct on-site inspections when necessary to gather additional information and assess the extent of damage.
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for restoration projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
- Collaborate with project managers, production teams, and clients to ensure clear communication and understanding of project requirements.
- Negotiate with insurance adjusters and other stakeholders to reach agreements on project scope and cost.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and pricing guidelines.
- Provide support to the production teams by creating job files, project schedules, and work orders.
- Document all interactions and project details in a clear and organized manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Work with outside resources as necessary to complete accurate estimate (i.e Structural Engineers, ITEL, Electrical Inspectors, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating and project management in the restoration industry.
- Proficient in Xactimate (2 plus years preferred).
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in estimating.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of restoration materials, techniques, and industry best practices.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
