About the Role
The Field Customer Care Specialist is a front-line, in-the-field position that combines strong people skills with hands-on job documentation. You will meet customers onsite, guide them through the early stages of restoration, and gather the photos and information needed for the estimating team.
This role is perfect for someone who is outgoing, confident, organized, and energized by face-to-face interaction. You enjoy a fast-paced day, can juggle multiple priorities, and respond quickly to time-sensitive situations while staying organized. If you enjoy talking with people and staying on the move, you’ll thrive in this position. If you prefer minimal customer interaction, this role is not for you.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary onsite contact for customers early in the restoration process
- Conduct field visits to assess damage and scope work needed
- Communicate clearly with homeowners and set expectations
- Take detailed photos, measurements, and notes
- Upload documentation for Desk Estimators to write estimates
- Build trust through professionalism, empathy, and follow-through
- Provide updates so customers always know what to expect
- Document all site conditions and customer interactions accurately
- Coordinate with Estimators, Project Managers, and office staff
- Proactively identify concerns and help resolve issues early
- Represent Paul Davis with a positive, professional presence

- Detail-oriented with photos, notes, and documentation
- Organized, dependable, and strong with follow-up
- Clear communicator (verbal and written)
- Comfortable working independently in the field

Qualifications
- Customer service, construction, and Insurance restoration (field experience preferred)
- Comfortable scoping damage and using mobile technology
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
- Tech-savvy with mobile apps and documentation tools
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
- Professional appearance and demeanor
