Restoration 1 of Louisville East is a locally owned restoration company serving the greater Louisville area. We specialize in water damage cleanup, structural drying, and property restoration. Responsibilities:

Work on job sites providing the following services:

· Water pumping and extraction

· Mold remediation

· Moving & re-setting contents

· Selective demolition as required to accommodate the drying process

· Debris disposal

· Setting drying equipment

· Carpet or hard surface cleaning

· Capable of moisture mapping the affected area, inclusive of temperature, relative humidity, & moisture content readings

Participate as directed in the following activities:

· Vehicle safety and maintenance inspections

· Ensure vehicle is cleaned and restocked at end of shift

· Constructing polyethylene enclosures

· Maintaining equipment

· Practice good housekeeping to ensure a safe and non-cluttered worksite

· Provide excellent customer service

· Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines

· Ensure attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people’s property and information

· Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices; follows all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment, including safe operation of machines and equipment

· Comply with all Restoration 1 policies and procedures

· This role could be required to act as a “lead” periodically as designated by their manager

· Attend all Restoration 1 sponsored training courses

Qualifications:
· IICRC certification for Water Restoration Technician (WRT/ASD) required

· IICRC certification for Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) an asset

· 2+ years industry related experience, Construction / Restoration / Insurance preferred

· Familiarity with chemical products including use, disposal, and Safety Data Sheets

· Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles, and practices

· Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per Restoration 1’s vehicle policy

· Ability to work within a team or independently as needed

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

· Basic computer and/or Tablet / iPad experience

· Willing to work evenings, on call and weekends when requested

· Periodic travel may be required

· Criminal Record Check
Physical Demands:

· Frequent lifting from 5-40 lbs, unassisted (from 35-65% of the time)

· Occasional lifting from 41 lbs +, assisted (up to 50% of the time)

· Access and mobility in tight spaces

· Fit Testing – half and full-face mask as needed; annual certification required

· Working at Heights - over 5 feet, periodically

· Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling
