Position Overview:

The Material Truck Driver is responsible for transporting materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites safely and efficiently. This role also supports the Repair Department by assisting with demolition as needed and will cross-train with the Contents and Water Mitigation Departments. Candidates must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

Take a look at this:  The Material Handler & Demolition / Site Laborer is responsible for transporting materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites safely and efficiently, including job-site clean ups, trash removal and various clean ups.  This role supports the Repair Department by assisting with various demolition projects and / or assisting Repair Technicians with various repairs that require assistance.  This position will assist with other departments when necessary, such as the Contents and Water Mitigation Departments. Candidates must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely drive a Flatbed Truck while pulling a large dump trailer.  Must be able to properly pull, backup and park truck with a trailer.
  • Safely load, transport, and unload materials, tools, and equipment to various job sites.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant company vehicle.
  • Assist the Repair Department with demolition duties, including removal of building materials, hauling debris, and supporting jobsite prep and cleanup.
  • Cross-train and assist in the Contents Department with pack-outs, inventorying, and handling customer belongings as needed.
  • Cross-train and assist in the Water Department, including basic water mitigation tasks, equipment placement, and moisture checks.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and supervisors regarding deliveries, materials, and jobsite needs.
  • Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, which may include nights, weekends, or holidays (if required by department needs).
  • Complete required documentation, logs, and checklists accurately and timely.
Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
