- Monitor and respond to emergencies: Proactively monitor emergency alerts, such as fire and police scanners, and respond immediately to fire or flood scenes to connect with affected property owners.
- Establish on-site presence: Arrive at disaster sites with a professional and compassionate demeanor to represent the company as a trusted, first-response solution provider.
- Generate leads and secure contracts: Approach property owners, educate them on the restoration process and insurance claims, and guide them to sign a contract for services.
- Build referral relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with first responders, fire departments, police officers, and insurance adjusters to build a network of referrals.
- Conduct site assessments: Perform initial, detailed inspections of damage. This includes taking photos, creating sketches, and determining the scope of work needed for an estimate.
- Manage customer expectations: Clearly communicate what customers can expect throughout the entire restoration process, from initial cleanup to final reconstruction.
- Document all activities: Accurately record all leads, contacts, customer interactions, and job statuses in the company's CRM system or database.
- Participate in networking: Attend local events and industry functions to promote the company and grow the professional referral network.
- Proven experience in outside sales, customer service, or emergency services in the Restoration Field (Water and Fire)
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to exceed sales goals and work in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Familiarity with the disaster restoration industry and insurance claims processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in using a CRM system.
