We are hiring experienced water, fire, and mold mitigation technicians. If you have not personally worked losses in the field -- set air movers, pulled carpet and pad, cut out wet drywall, run a dehu, built containment -- this is not the right opening for you. We hire for attitude in a lot of roles. This one needs the reps.

Required -- Field Experience

  1. Minimum 1 year of hands-on field experience performing water, fire, or mold mitigation. On job sites. Not warehouse, not dispatch, not adjacent trades.
  2. You have personally done the work: water extraction and structural drying, mold remediation and containment, fire and smoke cleanup, or contents pack-out.
  3. You have personally operated the equipment: air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, negative air machines, moisture meters, thermal imaging.
  4. You can read a job and document it -- moisture readings, daily monitoring, photos.

Also Required

  • Valid driver's license with a clean record
  • Ability to lift 75 LBS frequently
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime, and participate in the on-call rotation
  • Desire to continually learn and grow

Preferred

  • IICRC WRT (Water Damage Restoration Technician) -- or willing to obtain within 90 days, paid by us
  • IICRC ASD, AMRT, or FSRT
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Experience with Xactimate, DASH, Encircle, or similar field documentation software

Role on the Team (Responsibilities)

  • High-level performance of water mitigation, tarping, board-up, mold remediation, and carpet cleaning/reinstallation according to Paul Davis and industry specifications, under the supervision of the Mitigation Manager
  • Set, monitor, and adjust drying equipment; document moisture readings daily
  • Build and maintain containment; follow all safety and PPE protocols
  • Focus and dedication to excellent customer service
  • Maintain a clean, properly stocked and organized truck and all company equipment
  • Be accessible by phone and participate in the on-call schedule
  • Assist in warehousing and facility related tasks when necessary
  • Help other team members and be a leader for the team when needed

Compensation and Benefits

  • $19.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications
