About the Role

We’re looking for a Mitigation Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems under pressure. In this role, you’ll be the bridge between homeowners, insurance adjusters, crews, and subcontractors, ensuring restoration projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and with the highest level of customer care.

This position is ideal for someone with restoration, construction management, or insurance claims experience, but we also value backgrounds in facility management, carpentry, or customer service leadership where you’ve managed people, schedules, and high-stakes projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and oversee residential and commercial water, fire, and mold remediation projects from start to finish
  • Write and review detailed scopes, estimates, and budgets (Xactimate proficiency preferred)
  • Coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, and schedules to keep projects on track
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, property managers, and insurance representatives
  • Manage 10–20+ projects simultaneously while balancing priorities and deadlines
  • Perform site inspections, job walks, and final sign-offs to ensure quality and compliance
  • Maintain clear documentation, photos, and reports for internal records and insurance claims
  • Mentor and coach technicians to uphold SERVPRO’s high standards of professionalism and customer service
What Makes You a Strong Candidate

  • Experience in: mitigation/restoration, construction management, insurance claims, or related industries
  • Technical skills: Xactimate (required), Microsoft Office, project management tools
  • Physical ability: comfortable with ladders, crawl spaces, attics, and occasional lifting (50+ lbs)
  • Soft skills: strong communication, empathy with customers in crisis, ability to defuse conflict, problem-solving, time management, and leadership
  • Certifications preferred: IICRC (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT) or OSHA safety training
