What You'll Do:

As a Contents Crew Chief, you’ll be the leader of a dedicated crew that handles one of the most important parts of restoration: the contents. Whether it's inventorying, packing, transporting, or cleaning valuable items, you'll be there to ensure everything is handled with care and professionalism.

  • Lead & Manage: Supervise and direct your crew to ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and with the utmost attention to detail.

  • Client Interaction: Be the calm and reassuring voice for clients, guiding them through the contents process with empathy and respect.

  • Inventory & Organization: Oversee the careful packing, sorting, and cataloging of items, ensuring that everything is accounted for and organized throughout the process.

  • Restoration & Cleaning: Work hands-on with items to restore and clean them to their original condition when possible.

  • Communication: Keep clients, your team, and management informed about progress, challenges, and timelines.

  • Quality Control: Ensure the work is of the highest quality, meeting company standards, and exceeding client expectations.

Who We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate is someone who can balance leadership with hands-on work, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and who takes pride in serving others during a time of need. You’ll need a strong work ethic, a heart for service, and the ability to manage both people and projects.

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in contents handling, restoration, or a related field. Previous leadership experience is a plus.

  • Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.

  • Leadership: Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You’ll be working directly with clients and team members, so your ability to convey information clearly and compassionately is crucial.

  • Physical Stamina: You’ll be on your feet for long hours, handling items of varying weight and size. Physical fitness is important.

  • Problem Solver: You’ll need to think quickly on your feet, especially when faced with unexpected challenges during restoration or transportation.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
