Position Opening: Floor Technician – Project Services Team 

Full-Time | 1st or 2nd Shift | $16–$17/hr | Based in Newport News, VA 

About the Role ServiceMaster Commercial Services is hiring a Floor Technician to join our specialized Project Team. This full-time role focuses on commercial floor restoration and maintenance, with a structured schedule, defined responsibilities, and professional support. Technicians work as part of a small, mobile team responsible for executing high-quality floor care across multiple client locations. The role requires physical work, attention to detail, and a team-first mindset. Position Details Schedule Options: Day Shift: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Evening Shift: Monday–Friday | 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Pay: $16.00–$17.00/hour, paid weekly
Location: Based out of our Newport News office with regional job site travel (company vehicle provided) 

Key Responsibilities Strip, wax, and restore a variety of commercial flooring surfaces Clean carpets, tile, and concrete using specialized equipment Load and prepare materials and tools each day from our home office Travel with team to job sites in a company vehicle Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards Maintain equipment and ensure proper cleaning procedures are followed Day Shift Only: Assist with soft washing, window cleaning, and seasonal services
