- Respond to emergency losses including fire, water, mold, trauma, vehicle impacts, and other property damage situations
- Lead mitigation projects from initial response through completion
- Manage multiple customers, projects, and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Participate in an after-hours and on-call rotation schedule
- Serve as the daily on-site contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and exceptional customer service throughout the project
- Run and supervise crews of 3 or more team members
- Oversee and perform labor tasks including controlled demolition and debris removal
- Ensure workmanship quality and compliance with Paul Davis standards and safety guidelines
- Operate and oversee the use of drying and restoration equipment including dehumidifiers, air movers, HEPA filtration equipment, and other remediation tools
- Assess damage and restorability of customer contents and manage pack-outs, cleaning, inventory, and documentation within budget
- Monitor drying progress and provide accurate documentation to customers, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders
- Drive company vehicles, trucks, trailers, and other equipment as needed
- Maintain a professional presence while supporting customers during difficult situations
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Active IICRC WRT certification required; ASD certification preferred (AMRT and FSRT certifications are a plus)
- 3+ years of experience as a Mitigation Restoration Project Manager handling water, fire, and mold losses
- Strong desire to help others during challenging and emotional situations
- Ability to effectively manage multiple jobs, customers, crews, and timelines at once
- Comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team
- Ability to self-manage, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to participate in an after-hours/on-call rotation
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to pass a motor vehicle report
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- Willingness to work in fire, smoke, mold, water damage, and other hazardous environments (PPE provided by Paul Davis)
