Project Estimation & Bidding
- Prepare thorough project bids and estimates for a variety of rebuild scenarios, including large-loss and full-home restoration work.
- Negotiate project scopes, budgets, and timelines effectively, ensuring profitable outcomes for the company and high satisfaction for clients.

Subcontractor & Material Sourcing
- Proactively source, qualify, and manage subcontractors to handle specialized tasks across multiple trades.
- Identify and procure high-quality materials at competitive prices while maintaining compliance with job specifications.

On-Site Project Management
- Oversee residential and commercial reconstruction projects from start to finish, ensuring all phases of the rebuild are executed efficiently and to SERVPRO’s standards.
- Guarantee adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and SERVPRO’s quality expectations.

Budget & Procurement Oversight
- Develop and manage material and labor budgets, reviewing costs regularly to keep projects on track and cost-effective.
- Maintain detailed financial documentation and handle change orders and supplements as project scopes evolve.

Permits & Compliance
- Work with local county, city, and township officials to obtain the necessary permits and schedule required inspections.
- Coordinate with our licensed GC (if needed) and ensure all projects meet or exceed building code requirements and industry regulations.

Leadership & Team Coordination
- Supervise and mentor field crews, subcontractors, and project managers, including delegating tasks for large, complex rebuilds.
- Provide hands-on assistance if timelines are tight or critical issues arise.

Quality Control & Customer Satisfaction
- Perform site visits to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a high standard of craftsmanship.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, insurance representatives, and vendors, ensuring exceptional communication and follow-up.

Fire/Water/Mold Protocols
- Willingness to learn and follow SERVPRO’s remediation protocols to integrate reconstruction seamlessly with mitigation efforts.
- GC-Level Experience: 5+ years in a construction, reconstruction, or restoration role with responsibilities similar to a general contractor, including bidding out and managing large-loss projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Solid knowledge of construction trades (framing, drywall, paint, roofing, siding, plumbing, HVAC, electrical).
- Project & Vendor Management: Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects, source subcontractors, and secure materials for complex rebuilds.
- Software Skills: Experience with Xactimate strongly preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a must.
- Physical Capability: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights, and adapting to various job site conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License: Reliable transportation required for on-site visits.
- Effective Communication: Excellent written/verbal skills for client interactions, team coordination, and documentation.
- Problem-Solving: Aptitude for on-the-spot decision-making to handle emergent issues.
- Organization: Strong ability to keep track of budgets, schedules, and subcontractor tasks across multiple projects.
- Technology: Must be proficient with Windows-based PCs and mobile devices for digital documentation and communication.
