Restoration & Plumbing Sales Representative

1-Tom-Plumber is a full-service plumbing, drain cleaning, and water damage company. Our dedication to fulfill the immediate needs of our customers, both commercial and residential, is at the heart of how we operate. We are available all day, every day (24/7/365). 
 
We are looking for the right "people person" to initiate and develop business relationships for our Emergency Services/Insurance Restoration and Plumbing Services. Your primary focus will be on creating new business opportunities for our Property Restoration Division and our Plumbing Services Company, resulting in increased and recurring jobs from new clients.
Primary objectives will be contacting and developing relationships with a multitude of market segments. This would include, but is not limited to: Property Managers, Police and Fire Departments, Government Agencies, Facility Managers, Insurance Agencies, Insurance Adjusters, Hotels, Apartments, School District, Restaurants, etc.
 
Business Development Representative Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive Salary ($40K) plus commissions

We are seeking a candidate who can create new prospects and clients, provide an exceptional client experience, ability to show compassion, while building new relationships with organizations to help them achieve their next stage of growth. The Business Development Representative is responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned sales territory and/or account. You will need to generate and secure new sales revenue by prospecting and adding customers. 
 
Business Development Representative Responsibilities:
  • Design an action plan to successfully create new business and build client relationships
  • Create and maintain sales route records
  • Perform sales calls resulting in scheduled meetings with target referral prospects
  • Gain commitment from customers leading to referrals of those in need of restoration services
  • Responsible for achieving company sales targets and update management on the status of accounts
  • Maintain a professional, ethical, and positive disposition as a primary representative of the company in the community
  • Complete weekly and monthly sales reports in a timely manner
  • Attend weekly sales meetings
  • Regularly attend client meetings, trade shows, networking events, conferences, etc.
  • Maintain customer contact database
  • Make group presentations to prospect organizations
  • Integrate sales efforts with other organized marketing activities (promotions, advertising, exhibitions, telemarketing, social media marketing, etc.
  • Leverage the company CRM to record all activity and organize schedule.
 
Business Development Representative Requirements:
  • 3+ years proven sales experience in a business development role, preferably outside sales
  • Industry knowledge or the ability to seek knowledge if new to the industry
  • Results-driven and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to multitask with a sense of urgency to make things happen
  • Proven ability in creating and maintaining relationships with teammates and clients a must
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and negotiations skills
  • Self-motivated, trustworthy, confident, and organized
Compensation: $40,000.00 per year
