Job Summary

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will process and prepare payments, deposits, invoices to the job cost level. This position will research and resolve customer collection issues for insurance companies, homeowners, and staff including draw agreements.

Responsibilities

Has foresight and understands how or when we can start the process of collecting monies from Insurance companies, Home Owners, and/or setting up draw agreements.
Communicate with customers and insurance companies
Preparation of refund letters and checks.
Daily preparation and editing of invoices at job cost level.
Research and Resolve customer collection issues.
Has foresight and understands how or when we can start the process of collecting monies from Insurance companies, Home Owners, and/or setting up draw agreements.
Regular processing of payments.
Regular bank deposits.

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in Accounts receivable
Ability to write and compile reports and correspondence.
Must know QuickBooks A/R Module, Item Lists, and how to create customer reports.
Previous experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Previous experience within the construction industry is beneficial but not required
Notary is helpful
Previous experience within the insurance industry is helpful but not required

Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
