- Develop and review project scope and estimates, negotiate approvals, schedule resources, and coordinate production with crews.
- Conduct on-site inspections to assess damage and restoration requirements.
- Explain estimation details to clients and address any questions or concerns.
- Ensure an accurate scope of work for projects and prepare estimates utilizing computer hardware and proprietary software.
- Maintain communication with customers, teammates, vendors, and insurance representatives.

- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines and manage multiple estimations simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate and thorough estimates and documentation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to clients, insurance adjusters, and internal teams.
- 1-2 years prior experience estimating in the insurance restoration industry.
- High school diploma/GED
- Experience with advanced estimation software and tools, such as Xactimate.
- Xactimate Certification: Level 1/2
- Job Type: Full Time
- Standard schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- This position frequently requires long hours (beyond 8 hours a day), including some evening and weekend work.
- On-call rotation: You may be expected to participate in the departments on-call program. You will be notified in advance of participation.
- Travel: Primarily local, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected
- Capable of lifting and carrying equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds, as required during on-site inspections.
- Walking and standing for long periods of time, sitting, climbing ladders, working at ceiling heights, working in tight spaces (i.e., crawl spaces, attics).
- Extensive computer use is required, including prolonged periods of typing, data entry, and working with various software applications.
- Strong visual acuity to assess damage and construction details accurately.
