We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Commercial Business Development Manager to join our team. As a valued SERVPRO® franchise employee, you will receive a competitive pay rate, with the opportunity to learn and grow.

Position Summary: SERVPRO Team Shaw is actively looking for a Commercial Business Development Manager. This person will be responsible for driving business within the Houston market. The ideal candidate will possess a self-motivated attitude while looking to grow a career with a privately held company. This position will determine decision making structure and grow new plus relevant relationships with existing MSA clients for the sole purpose driving revenue growth. Ideal candidates will have existing relationships within the verticals of Multifamily, Commercial Real Estate, Student Housing, Hospitality and/or Sr. Living Facilities. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and managing business across our services or mitigation and construction 
  • Assess existing MSA client structure and develop specific plan for maximizing revenue 
  • Collaborate with teams when appropriate for executing client strategies 
  • Travel as necessary to forge relationships with key client decision makers 
  • Develop and maintain territory plans assigned in 
  • Participate in standing Business Development and SERVPRO company meetings 
Position requirements and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
  • Administrative Requirements:
    • Generate new leads, research potential clients and their requirements
    • Schedule in person presentations with key decision makers
    • Master company capabilities adept at developing effective lead-to-opportunity closure
    • Create engaging presentation
    • Utilize SalesForce
  • Customer Service Management:
    • Maintain strong customer relationship, ensure loyalty through excellent customer service
    • Work with client as business continuity partner for their emergency service and construction needs
    • Communicate customers' needs to Project Management Team and field personnel to ensure project runs efficiently and meets client objectives
  • Marketing:
    • Keep open line of communication and constant networking with client or sales marketing team
    • Utilize all marketing tools to promote and increase revenue
    • Communicate and ensure SERVPRO Team Shaw is always being presented with integrity
    • Monitor, train and assist in maintaining vendor programs
Education: 
  • Bachelor’s degree 
Experience: 
  • Established client base in verticals; Multifamily, Commercial Real Estate, Student Housing, Sr. Living Facilities and Hospitality groups 
  • 1-3 years minimum sales experience 
  • Proven sales experience with the development of new and existing client base 
Work Environment & Travel
  • Up to 25% of the job involves on-site meetings with Clients. Up to 50% of time spent on paperwork, reports, etc. 
  • Must be able to stand all day, walk stairs and other physical related tasks and demands.
  • Routine vehicle travel within the local geographic service area.

Compensation: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
