- IICRC WRT/ASD Certifications required. IICRC FSRT/AMRT Certifications also preferred.
- 3 or more years’ experience in water & mold mitigation with a thorough knowledge of water mitigation and the dry-down processes
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Possession of current driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Must pass background check (no felony convictions and no misdemeanor convictions for violent offenses or loss or property).
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel & Outlook).
- Strong Integrity and dependability.
- Enjoy being on the move and never having the same day twice
- Maintain constant communication with customer as well as administrative staff and be effective with written and oral communication.
- Be personable and outgoing, intent on making a great first impression.
- Will respect and maintain the confidentiality of company, client, and personnel information.
- Can work and communicate effectively with a team of restoration technicians.
- Will be detail oriented and extremely organized, as well as taking great pride in their work.
- Document service and installation actions by completing forms, take moisture readings, logs, and record file details of all projects.
- Lead the planning and implementation of mitigation projects.
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
- Be able to climb stairs, scaffold and ladders.
- Be able to crawl through attics and crawlspaces as needed.
- Prepare trucks and equipment for emergencies.
- Be able to bend, squat, lift frequently and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Ability to be part of an on-call emergency rotation. (After hours and weekends are on a rotating on call basis).
- Occasionally work in temperatures above 100 degrees or below 32 degrees.
- Occasionally work on slippery or uneven surfaces.
- Understand the noise level in the work environment is frequently loud.
- Work in environments such as smoke, wind, water, Category 2 and 3 water, fire, etc.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
