Estimator/Negotiator Xactimate software
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Xactimate Estimator/Negotiator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating, negotiation, and customer service, with the ability to effectively communicate and advocate for our clients' needs. This role will involve assessing project costs, negotiating with insurance companies to approve estimates, and upselling additional services when appropriate.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Xactimate software to generate accurate estimates for construction, restoration, or remodeling projects.
- Negotiate with insurance adjusters and representatives to advocate for clients and ensure estimates are approved in a timely manner.
- Conduct inbound and outbound calls to communicate with clients, insurance companies, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to determine material and labor requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to understand project scope and objectives.
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, including material costs, labor costs, and overhead expenses.
- Upsell additional services or upgrades to clients when applicable, enhancing project scope and profitability.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to estimates, negotiations, and project updates.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment to support project goals and objectives.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in estimating and negotiation processes.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Estimator and Negotiator is a plus.
- Proficient in Xactimate software with a strong understanding of its features and functionalities.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to advocate for clients and build rapport with insurance representatives.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimating project costs and preparing documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Construction experience is a plus, with knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
