Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Bookkeeper for our diverse businesses, including plumbing, restoration, construction, and real estate. The role demands proficiency in QuickBooks Online and involves comprehensive financial management. Candidates must be available for 3 weeks of paid out-of-state training.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Perform daily accounting functions: A/R, A/P, cash collections, and bank/credit card reconciliations.
·         Manage payroll, employment tax returns, and benefits administration.
·         Oversee company cash flow and compile financial statements, including month-end and year-end closings.
·         Assist in preparing business income tax returns and analyze financial statements for sustainable, profitable growth.
·         Align accounting activities with company vision and mission.
·         Advise leadership on financial growth strategies and assist in developing annual operating budgets.
·         Conduct weekly/monthly financial meetings with leadership to maintain transparency across all divisions.
·         Assist in budget creation and management, collaborating with operations managers and leadership.
·         Oversee financial protocols and procedures; review all receipts and transactions.
·         Key decision-maker in financial matters beyond set budgets.

 

What We’re Looking For:

·         Self-motivated individual with integrity, initiative, and strong professional presence.
·         Minimum 3 years’ experience in small business accounting/bookkeeping preferred.
·         Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel.
·         Strong attention to detail, relationship-building skills, and superior communication abilities.
·         Strategic thinker, able to present and defend opinions within the leadership team.
·         A passion for business, numbers, and for having fun at work.
·         An undergraduate degree in accounting or related field preferred.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
