Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Communicate with home/business owners to secure service contracts.
• Assist w/ job site inspections, determine scope of the work to be performed (water, fire, mold, etc.).
• Remove and dispose of non-salvageable items.
• Conduct demolition on damaged materials.
• Set up drying equipment per IICRC S500 Standards.
• Prepare documentation pertaining to the loss: contracts, pictures, sketching, daily reports.
• Document work in project management and moisture mapping software programs.
• Move drying equipment and other items from job site to warehouse as necessary or required.
• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle along with clean equipment
• Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
• Communicate with management to report project status, updates, issues or concerns.
• Perform general construction/repair work as needed: install and tape drywall; paint and seal; carpentry; carpet & pad installation; baseboard installation.
Necessary Experience and Skill Set:
• 2 Years Water Damage Restoration Experience (or Similar Trade)
• Must be a team player
• Must be polite and have strong work ethic
• Possess excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be available 24/7 on call rotation.
• Must have clean driving record and valid license
• Ability to lift 50 LBS (100 LBS Team Lift)
• Ability to climb ladders and work overhead at varying heights.
• Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., containment, crawls spaces / Attic)
• Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
• Working in challenging environments with varying temperatures.
