1 Tom Plumber is a professional, service-focused, emergency drain clearing and plumbing maintenance company providing services to both commercial and residential properties.

Position Purpose

Sells 1-Tom-Plumber services to businesses and residences.

The primary function of the Sales Representative job is to grow 1-Tom-Plumber sales volume by selling new services to commercial and residential prospects and managing ongoing customer relationships.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from LinkedIn, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, newspapers and other sources.
Travels throughout assigned territory to call on prospects and regular customers to solicit orders or talks with prospects and customers by phone. Extensive cold calling required.
Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into CRM software.
Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
Attends trade shows and other community events to develop leads.

Qualifications

2 years of experience in business-to-business sales.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Ability to build rapport with clients.
Familiar with CRM platforms.
Ability to lead and inspire others.
Excellent organization skills.
Excellent time management skills.
