A Water/Mold/Fire/ Smoke and Contents Technician is responsible for handling new and on-going claims which include initial job site inspections, performing structural drying, demolition, clean-up, water extraction, mold remediation and fire restoration.

Requirements:
- Experience in Water/Fire Mitigation and Mold Remediation is helpful. Construction background is required
- IICRC Certified is a plus.
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects on a regular basis up to 50-100 lbs.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Valid driver's license (3+ years of driving experience).
- Clean background check back to age 18.
- Willingness/ability to work some weekends and night hours as we are an Emergency 24/7/365 Service. (Typically, one week on call per month)
- MICA experience is a plus!
- Complete work with a servant's heart-customer service and the ability to co-manage a team.
Responsibilities:
- Provides emergency restoration and disaster recovery services to customers following assigned work orders provided by the Operations.
- Performs water, fire, smoke damage and mold remediation repair as directed by supervisor to include water extraction, pack-out of contents, removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials, cleaning, light construction, and demolition.
- Sets up and monitors air movers and or dehumidifiers.
- May perform other cleaning duties (i.e., construction cleaning, fire, smoke, odor cleaning, mold remediation, etc.) when part of mitigation or restoration job.
- Work hard and take pride in completing projects (i.e., mitigating flood and fire, The technician is responsible for responding to water mitigation and or emergency services jobs
- Technicians work in the field providing service for customers in need of restoration services.
- The technician is required to be on call 24/7, and overtime may be necessary, depending on work volume.
- Respond to incoming jobs via email and telephone – On Call Schedule 24/7
- Site inspection of water loss with customer, utilizing moisture meters for moisture readings and laser measurer to sketch affected areas.
- Create and monitor drying logs.
- Conduct any necessary demolition of non-structural material.
- Photograph all affected areas, drying equipment, work from beginning to completion, and moisture readings.
- Utilize online software (MICA) to track jobs both internally and externally with insurance carriers, third party administrators, and any other applicable parties.
