Position Summary: Senior Lead Technician holds a tremendous amount of responsibility in the success of Amerestore Restoration. It requires the commitment, dedication, knowledge, and passion necessary to see that every job assignment is completed to the highest quality while achieving profitability goals. The SLT will administer job-specific tasks including but not limited to scheduling, production, estimating, budgeting, tracking burn rates, communication, documentation, financials, SLA compliance, etc. The SLT is the face of Amerestore Restoration on every job assigned to him/her. They will interact with clients, adjusters, consultants, etc. all while ensuring the financial expectations and job site quality are achieved. The SLT will lead by example following the company’s mission statement and core values. It is the responsibility of the SLT to always keep the morale of the teams high & positive. Lead Technicians (if no lead technicians are at this location, then direct reports will be technicians)

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

Senior Lead Technician has the ability and knowledge of all aspects of the Lead Technician position, in addition to the following:

· Crew management

o Manage and ensure job documentation is being properly completed and uploaded BEFORE leaving jobsite.

§ TSheets, Equipment, Materials, DASH, Job Summary Notes, Encircle, etc.

o Leads by example and teaching others proper restoration techniques.

o Can run larger crew and provide proper leadership to team while documenting work (assisting in large loss)

o Be held accountable for managing team and teams’ actions.

o Treat fellow employees with respect and assist in techs development.

· Job knowledge

o Ability to inspect water/fire/env job/other.

o Ability to photo document properly / close up / corner to corner / important items

o Ability to scope a project from beginning to end. Has the vision to see a completed project?

o Ability to take scope and write an estimate, bid, NTE, etc.

o Ability to develop a budget, for a single job, that will hit minimum company goals

o Ability to obtain information daily to ensure our burn rates.

o Ability and confidence to make changes instantly to ensure success of project.

o Ability to have a good understanding of what it will take to complete the job (resource planning)

§ Amount of laborers

§ Amount of equipment

§ Any specialty equipment

§ Initiate need for subs.

§ Situational awareness (specific particulars associated with site and locations)

· Job Scheduling and Planning

o Ability to source, coordinate and schedule every aspect of project to ensure a success.

§ Job scheduling for in-house staff.

§ Job scheduling of subcontractors.

· Responsible for pulling all WO/PO

· Relationship management with subcontractors

o Need to build a “tool belt” – It will be your best friend.

§ Gathering all job documentation and ensuring it is UPLOADED daily.

· TSheets

· Equipment

· Materials

· Photos

· Notes

· Invoices

· Etc.

§ Material Procurement

· Understanding of material uses & cost.

· Understanding of material procurement

· Proactive approach for the entire project

§ PROACTIVE scheduling and planning are keys to PROFITABILITY.

· This means plans are always 24 hrs ahead of time.

· Plan Today for Tomorrow

· Daily progress updates drive Tomorrow’s scheduling.

· Communication – Verbal, Phone and Email

o We are an emergency service company – timeliness on responses is key.

o Availability to answer and respond to calls and email in timely manner.

o A SLT MUST be able to be the first responder on all projects. YOU are the face!

o Ability to assess/understand/communicate all aspects of project to interested parties (client, adjuster, consultant, etc.)

§ Includes safety, schedule, job plan, timelines, important notes.

§ SLT is the COMMUNICATOR for all assigned projects.

o Set proper expectations for client and maintain relationships with clients.

o Respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.

o Ability to provide and manage a full scope of work to Lead Technicians and client.

o Ability to provide and manage a budget, timeline, and expectations of project.

· Job Finances

o Create NTE, estimate, bid within 4 hours of being onsite.

§ Approval of all NTE, estimates, bid over $1000 must be approved by BM

§ SLT will send BM NTE and budget on every project.

o Ensure budget meets company expectations of Gross Profit

§ 70% - Water

§ 50% - Fire, Mold, Structure Clean

o Obtain job information for burn rates on a daily basis.

§ Must hit GP goals.

o Ability to know when to go in for additional monies for the project (change order)

o Responsible for APPROVING all subcontractor invoices.

§ Accounting WILL NOT pay subs without SLT approvals.

o Maintain, collect, and submit all receipts (follow accounting process)

o Documentation accuracy is the responsibility of Lead and Senior Lead but verified by BM prior to upload.

o Dash & Encircle

§ Upload field documents

§ Send daily pictures.

§ Upload note.

§ Timeliness in reporting is key.

§ Ensure DASH and Encircle files are accurate, complete, and timely data always entered.

· Leadership

· Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of Two (2) years of experience in the Restoration Industry

· Acceptable IICRC or similar certifications in water, fire and environmental (management discretion)

· Availability to be on-call.

· Maintain a positive attitude.

· Must keep a clean and organized vehicle.

· An ability to prioritize and manage expectations of Amerestore Restoration.

· A strong eye for detail and to willingness to DO SOMETHING when things aren’t right.

· Ability to analyze data to make educated decisions for COMPANY success.

· Ability to forecast and predict trends based on industry experience.

· An ability to work independently, as well with others.

· The ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with clients and co-workers.

· Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects/tasks at one time.

· Company Driven and put Amerestore Restoration above the individual.

· Valid Driver’s License and legal to work in the United States

· Ability to travel.

Physical Demands: The ability to fulfill any activities normally expected in restoration/construction management, including but not limited to

· Remaining seated for periods of time to perform computer-based work.

· Participating in office environment activities.

· Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.

· Frequently required to stand, walk, and work for extended periods of time

· Ability to adapt to difficult situations.

· Ability to travel for extended periods of time.
