The BDM works to expand and grow our customer base by recruiting new referral sources and trade partners. In addition, the Sales Representative maintains an ongoing relationship with trade partners to encourage networking and repeat business. The role is responsible for pursuing and cultivating strong professional relationships with our referral sources and trade partners by analyzing the market, identifying viable target clients, reaching decision-makers, and intensely focusing on turning leads into accounts and sales revenues. A *2% ongoing commission will be paid out on all new water damage mitigation accounts secured by the BDM.

They will be visiting with and establishing relationships with our targeted trade partners and referral sources, which include, but are not limited to, Plumbers, HVAC companies, Property Managers, Insurance Agents and Public Adjusters. We establish these relationships by offering them a professional and certified trade partner to refer clients to. We establish the basis for a referral partnership by effectively communicating the Benefits of working with Restoration 1 of Washington DC and tying those benefits back to their needs. We also provide the peace of mind and the security in knowing that we will always treat our mutual customers with the utmost respect and professionalism. Develop targeted sales strategies that allow for maximum efficiency and results. Deliver effective RESTORE presentations. Professionally conduct meetings with clients. Plan and manage appointment schedules to include new touches, presentations, follow up calls. Maintain exceptional internal and external customer communication. Maintain accurate contact and Sales documentation. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products and services and stay current with market trends. Address clients’ questions, comments, and concerns to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.

Preferred Skills, Experience & Requirements:
 
  • Extensive face-to-face selling experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 lunch & learn presentations per week
  • Must be coachable and trainable with winning mindset
  • Highly competitive, positive, and results driven salesperson
  • Experience managing multiple projects and able to multi-task in a large territory
  • Experience with a CRM tool
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to build client and solution/value-based proposals
  • Local knowledge and contacts in one or more market segments preferred
