Job Summary
The Water Damage Technician will assist other team members by providing skilled & unskilled labor while learning the techniques & receiving training required while performing professional mitigation & disaster response services for 1-800 Water Damage.
Responsibilities
- Perform water mitigation inspections as assigned.
- Able to go out to perform emergency response within 1 hour.
- Show up on time for shifts, in proper uniform & well-groomed.
- Be available for on-call & emergencies.
- Learn & practice commitment to customer service.
- Fill out paperwork properly; (Timesheets, PO Forms, Field Check-list).
- Monitor loss & document readings.
- Must be able to exercise good judgment & to understand & carry out written & or oral instructions, along with sound problem-solving ability.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proven experience in water damage restoration and mitigation.
- Certification in water damage restoration (IICRC WRT certification required, other IICRC certification is highly favorable).
- Proficiency in using MICA (Mobile Integrated Claims Application) or other job documentation software for moisture mapping, drying logs, and reporting.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of water damage restoration equipment and techniques.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in physically demanding and sometimes adverse conditions.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Must be able to regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.

Compensation: $62,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
