- Perform restoration activities per work order and estimator instructions
- Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle along with clean and operable equipment
- Practice courtesy and safety when driving company vehicles
- Prepare rooms/areas for work activities
- Establish and maintain a safe work environment - for customers and team members
- Document job readings and activities using company forms and systems
- Communicate professionally with clients, employees, adjusters, trade partners, and the general public
- Assist other team members with the completion of tasks
- Available when called for on-call assignments
- Contribute to a positive atmosphere and the accomplishment of team objectives
- Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
- Exhibit at least some sense of humor! We perform difficult, uncomfortable, and dirty services that require some ability to laugh (some jobs more than others).
- Plan, delegate, and manage delivery of Restoration Technicians, including temporary labor
- Estimate remaining job efforts and provide input into scheduling discussion
- Communicate with insurance carriers regarding scope, rationale, and status of efforts
- Provide on-the-job feedback to other team members
- IICRC certifications within last 5 years (WRT required, ASD, FSRT, AMRT desired)
- Exhibit empathy and service mindset with our customers and partners
- At least 3 years of experience performing restoration jobs
- Exhibit pride in own work efforts and successful contributor to teams
- Interest and ability to learn new concepts, grow skills, and share knowledge
- Contribute to company efforts to improve processes, forms, and systems
- Clean driving record (i.e., minimal points) and insurable under our vehicle insurance policy
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma/GED
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
- Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
- Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary
