Position Overview
We're looking for a Project Manager to lead our production activities in the field and make decisions that impact the success of the assignment. The PM will perform a variety of tasks, including monitoring and inspecting commercial and residential restoration jobs to ensure proper drying, demolition and various other restoration activities.  The PM is a key person and first responder who meets customers and explains procedures and  processes used to perform the work as well as the next steps to resolution.  The PM advises and supervises techs assigned to the job and monitors progress. A PM needs not only excellent technical skills, but also must have the necessary Customer Service skills that are required to work through difficult situations with customer's experiencing a crisis.

The PM should have a construction background which includes basic understanding of building materials, flooring and other materials affected by wind, water, fire, smoke and other property damage causes. A successful PM is a local hero who will will make a difference here, from helping clients solve the issues of unexpected catastrophes to helping our company grow and prosper.  As the company grows and prospers, so will the PM.

Compensation is a fixed hourly salary based upon experience plus generous commissions.  A six figure income is attainable by the right person
 
Job Requirements
  • The ability to explain the restoration process and next steps to resolution in person to customers. 
  • The ability to Interface with insurance adjusters and customers in person, over the phone, and virtually.
  • An understanding of quality assurance inspections after completion and a willingness to obtain customer signatures for approval.
  • Willingness to train new operational team members in mitigation work.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance restoration and or construction industry
  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
  • Able to work independently or work with/lead a team
  • Exhibit professionalism, maturity, and the willingness to serve the customer
  • Experience managing teams of 2 or more
  • Experience with entering data using a tablet or mobile phone
  • Must be able to prioritize activities and meet deadlines 
  • May have to jump in and help save the day by working in the field
  • Working on-call schedule is required
  • Certifications that may be helpful: 
    • ASD – Applied Structural Drying Technician
    • FSRT – Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician
    • OCT – Odor Control Technician
  • IICRC WRT – Water Damage Restoration Technician is required
  • High school graduate or equivalent is required, college degree preferred.

  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lifting, squatting, crawling and crouching is required. 
  • On occasion lift or move items weighing up to 70 pounds  
  • Express or exchange ideas with others and receive and act on detailed information given.
  • For safety reasons, respirators, which are used in certain situations, must be able to seal to your face.
  • Be exposed to various inside and outside working conditions: The change of environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
