Description of the job:

This position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments in our clients' buildings, performing the following functions and responsibilities:

Perform all building cleaning tasks using the products, tools and procedures approved by ServiceMaster Clean
Sweep, mop, shake, polish, remove trash, clean bathrooms, clean glass.
Maintain inventory of cleaning equipment and supplies at correct levels
Wear the full uniform and appropriate safety tools where needed
Open and close buildings, activate and deactivate building security systems where required
Physical demands for this position:
Standing up to 100% of the time, as well as walking, pushing objects, kneeling to enhance certain activities, reaching for objects
Must be able to lift or carry objects up to 25 pounds in weight
Ability to differentiate between different cleaning products and their uses
1-2 years of experience in cleaning commercial or residential buildings is desired but not required for this position
Required training will be provided to those with a strong work ethic and desire to learn
Skill required to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasking environment
You must contribute to maintaining a positive work environment with a pleasant attitude
Contribute to the team effort including wearing the correct uniform, being dependable, and getting to work on time
Treat the entire work team and clients with respect and courtesy

Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
